Longest 2 up ride the wife and I did was 465 and that is with stops for gas and eating lunch and then touring the Dr Pepper museum. Also was a butt burner.

On my old '84 Virago. 1800 miles round trip over three days from Helena MT to Carson City NV and back. Straight through each way. Surprise trip for Mother's Day when I was 25. My ass is still sore.

The Kury backrest looks a little tall when you're just looking at it, but once you ride with it you should find it pretty comfy.

Salt Lake City, UT to Cedar Rapids, IA 1228 miles 2 hr break in Des Moines, IA. Of course I was driving a truck. Ha gotcha. Can't get myself to do more than 300 on a bike. What's the point if you don't stop and enjoy the sights?

Its usually about TIME versus DISTANCE, for the wife and I. She has her own bike.

I finally got her backrest where she needed it, versus where she though she needed it.

Now we can ride 6-8 hours a day without any problem, maybe stopping once for stretching the legs.

Though sometimes we just ride 2 hours and see local sights.

Got the backrest today a day early, its on the bike, it is a little tall like it looks in the picture, the backrest pad is (in my opinion) too small, I adjusted it all the way back, it has quite a long adjustment between the seat bracket and the backrest frame.

When you start riding though it does what it's supposed to do which is furnish back support.

I probably should have broke down and ordered me another Mustang seat with a backrest on it, but I've been spending money like a mad monkey.

925 miles from Albuquerque to Houston on my '77 Yamaha 750D in about 25 hours back in the double nickle days.

Recently, 425 miles around the mountains of NM for a day trip. (Gotta get a different seat!) Saddle sore for a few days!
