Sure am glad I do my own tires. The best price I could find on that tire was $189.99
So your dealer charged you about $113.00 for mounting & balance.

I do my own removal, jack it up drop the wheels off and take to my wrench and he mounts and balances for $20 a wheel....I sometimes have the tires shipped to him, and he calls me when they come in.. Last time I had some mounted and balanced at a dealer cost me $150 for the pair, and that was 10 years ago. Bought a jack for $50 best investment I have made!!

Shop I use charges $26 each for mount, balance and stems. I pull my own wheels. If they pulled them, I'd expect to pay 1 to 1.5 hrs labor on top of that i suppose.

I think 11,000 miles on any tire is great, as long as the tire has good grip. I may be able to get high miles out of the Dunlop E3's but I dislike the traction so much I'll be removing them much sooner.

I save money on tires for 3 bikes by changing them myself. The Roadstar tires are easy compared to the 200/50-17 on the back of the Warrior. There's hardly any side wall on that tire.
