do the hd softail chrome lowers fit on the roadstar with the oem big bar already installed on the bike ??

I don't know if they ALL crack, but mine were already cracked when I bought them used from a guy who had them on a HD.

They will fit, but you have to use spacers to get 'em just right.

I've had them on my R*for 2 yrs and haven't cracked yet.

I had mine on for just over 2 years before they cracked......fender washers and rubber washers kind of take care of this, but I still know they are cracked.......

So mine have been on over 2 years they should be cracking any moment.

Bart, I assume you have a windshield.
Curts lowers or Buck's lowers are larger and deflect more air.

I used the HD touring deflectors.

I have the chrome lowers from National Cycle. Been on the bike for a little over a year. Never thought about cracking until I read this thread. Sure enough, a small crack along the weld is there. Tried some JB Weld the other day but it looks bad. Might try a thin piece of stainless against the lip to reinforce.
