I found out the hard way that mine sits so low, it can't actually fall over when parked. It just leans over until it hits the floorboard brackets and stops.

I consider it a safety feature...

lol grayphart had a brainphart. did that one time with my 04 650 v-star. and wouldn't you figure i was at the stealership "doh" rode the bike into the dealer to have a new tube put in the tire in the middle of winter. 10 miles in 15 degrees. by the time i got there i was more woried about my hands not wanting to let the bars go than the kick stand i guess

YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND A HEAVY DRINKER I got home after closing down the local bar and got up to the front porch still on my Sportster, fell over it on top of me and just passed out there Awoke 2 hours later leg was burning man that hurt!!!!!took about 20 min to get out from under that bike oil tanks get hot I learned my lessen that night walked funny for about 2 weeks OUCH

I am sure I will have to do 3 wheels some day and when I do I know just how I want it to look. I saw a guy that was an amputee that had his done the way I would want the 05. All he had was the rear axle and some nice rims and fat tires in place of the swing arm. Really bad azzzz HOT ROD look to it and I thought it was really cool.

I used to carry a little 3" x 3" piece of 1/4" plywood with me just for soft places.....put it under the stand and it won't sink.
