The other morning I went outside to find my bike was victim of a hit and run! Someone backed into my front fender and then drove off. The fender is all twisted, no way to get it back to right shape, just waiting on insurance to get back to me on what's going to get done. I called the dealer for a price on a fender and was shocked at the price of $816.99!! Depending on if the insurance just cuts me a check or if the require the shop to do the work, I might go with an aftermarket fender and some custom paint

Had someone back into my bike and broke the tail light. Still pisses me off to think about it. They knew they did it. Be a good neighbor.

Sorry about your fender. About a year ago I was having breakfast and the hostess came to my table and said ,"is that your motorcycle out front"?
I at first thought that she was about to compliment the bike,then she said "can please come upmfront with me" I nervously walked to the front door and a man in his late 30s had his hand extended to shake mine. Next to him was a woman probably in her late 60s he introduced as his mother. He explained that she eas backing up and bumped my bike and wanted to let me know. I looked at my bike , no damage, I could see where she rubbed the tire and a tire mark on her dirty car.
I thanked them for their integrity and said have a nice day. He said your welcome and asked that I would do the same if ever in that situation.
The coolest part of this is that they were traveling through North Carolina on the intersate, on their way back to New York. It made me feel good that there are still stand up people in our country.

Update: insurance is cutting me a check for the front fender, now just have to decide if im going stock or custom with it. anyone have a deep scarlet/beach sand tan front fender laying around? if i can get a stock one cheap i can use the rest of the cash for more add ons
