Perilli Night Dragons 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I just had a set of NDs installed yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I have been looking at Metzler ME 880 but didn't want to get stuck with the ones made in Brazil, Avons, and Dunlop Elite 3. I read reviews compared to these three from other people and most of them perferred the NDs. So I ordered them from the dealer, luckly they had a sale on tires 50% off if they installed them.

My review is just based on the NDs compared to the POS OEM Bridgstones (Rockstones). I have only driven home 50 miles on them but I could really tell the difference. I took it easy for the first 25 miles or so because they were new and really haven't put them to the test.

The bike feels so much more stable than it did before, and it sticks like glue. Absolutely zero issues on grooved pavement or tar snakes on a hot day like yesterday (101 degrees Fahrenheit).

Control is much more intuitive than before, and they stick to the road like glue. The bike just feels "normal" now. So, I highly recommend these tires, they're very nice and inspire confidence. I heard they are great in the rain also but haven't seen rain in San Antonio in a long time and probably won't for awhile. I'll post anupdate when I get more miles on them and tried them in the rain.

I feel safer riding on these tires.

Keep us posted on wear, because they sound great. I have had great experiences with Pirelli. The glue effect comes to mind.

On the reviews it seems they do wear faster, it looks like around 8K miles for the rear depending on how you ride. Myself, I was more interested in the grip and feel. My main concern is better grip and ride, I'll change tires more often if I feel safer and more confident with a tire. I've attached a review of the NDs if it works.

I agree with that, brakes and tires are #1, 'cause it is awesome to stick it, but if you can't stop, well that just sucks.

Stickier tires normally wear faster due to the softer rubber compounds.

Huskerroy,

It looks like the front only comes in 150/80 B 16 M/C 71H TL, is that what you used, and I though that size doesn't fit without a mod? The rear can be ordered in stock size.

Didn't see that on their site. Thanks, that is the stock size.
