Why is it so hard to push around ? 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I know my bike is well over 700 pounds but when I want to just move it a few feet in the garage or something it is really a bear to get rolling. Of course this is only when it's not running.

Seems to me that I could put my wife's car in neutral and it would be easyer to push around. Anyone eles notice that ?

Instead of just pulling in the clutch shift it to neutral. It's a lot easier to push that way. Are you trying to give your bike a complex by pushing it around?

I pull up to my garage after work, shut the bike off, go in the house, open the garage door, then push the bike in every day... Lucky I feel your pain!

+1 for what ahamay said. Put it in Neutral instead of just pulling in the clutch, makes it much easier to move.

And I thought I was just getting old! I think it's an optical illusion. The bikes look small...compared to other transportation like a car or truck. So it just seems like you should be able to just push it around with no problem.

I've noticed that too...when it's cold/or has not run that day. I've pulled up to the garage, shut it off, opened hte door and pushed it in too...and when warm it's not too bad. Lots of parts in there.

Dang! My R* is a piece of cake compared to my Honda Aero, and it's just a 750!! That thing just doesn't want to move, and it's about 200 pounds lighter!!
