Oil 4 Years, 8 Months ago
Changed the oil in my roadie today 9/14/07. Could not find Mobil V twin anywhere in the area. So I went with Castrol V Twin 20w50 . Also changed gear oil with Mobil 1 75W90. The difference in the bike is awsome. Quiter engine no more clackity clack. It even seems to have a bit more power. Shifting is so smooth it feels like butter. The whole bike feels like a new machine. Am I ever glad I came to this clinic as all information here is top notch. Thanks to all

Welcome to the clinic Swift. Glad you're happy , Castrol makes good products as well. FYI, I've found the Mobil 1 syn. at autozone and Walmart. BB

Welcome!!

My first pass thru the local Walmart for Mobile 1 VTwin I didn't find any. Got to talking to a local rider later in the day and he said be sure and check in the motorcycle dept...didn't even know Walmart had one! Sure enough, a dozen bottles there on the shelf!!

Welcome to the Clinic, Swift. Yup, I just changed my oil (before even hitting the first 100 miles) with the same brand and replaced the filter with WalMart's SuperTech oil filter. Much quieter.

Went to syn at 7k. Just changed again at 10500. Couldn't find the oil I was using so I went with Mobil-1 15-50. A good portion of my thinking came from this clinic. $20 for 5 qts at Wally Mart. Just took it for a spin, I'll see how I feel about it after a good ride.

Wal-Mart has a m/c section????? The ones here don't. Wish they did though...... The only synthetic oils they carry are for auto & truck; the energy conserving types. Oh well......

This one doesn't have a MC section either. The Mobil-1 15-50 Syn is not energy conserving.

Welcome aboard swift the synthetic does make a difference.
The Wal-mart super centers have a motorcycle section. It's easy to over look though. The one here has one but it's only one shelf.
