60 mph plus with a stock set up but with my mods I can run 50 mph and still accelerate without a ping and it goes real good.

Same here, but was curious last week, so dropped her down to 40mph in 5th, talk about some darn low rpm's, think it was about 1300. If I accelerated slow it was ok, just couldn't do a git-up and go thing. But once at 60 or better, I have no need to drop to 4th to get out of my own way. I'll ride in 5th at 50mph, as long as I know it will be a long cruise.

Same here but that is the HSR's for you. I used to have to drop to 4th in turns to get the accel coming out of the curves. That's not the case any more she will pull herself out real good in 5th.

Minimum of 55 for 5th gear, anything under that it lugs...

Can go down to 45... but damn, lugs.

60 is my usually minimum.

Normal around town riding:

15 mph - 2nd
30 mph - 3rd
40 mph - 4th
50 mph - 5th

(Hence the reason I'd like a 6th gear.)

Rev limiter and shift 1-5 ok but 65 is about right for me. For me its between 3rd and 4th that I go back and forth on 40ish mph, in 3rd seams to high but 4th seams to lug...so I do 50 in a 35 zone

With my mods, like some of the others, absolutely no problem pulling 50 in 5th. Having a 31 tooth front pulley certainly helps there.

Always 65 to 70 going into 5th. If below 65 always in 4th. Mine doesn't like the highway until its running 70 to 75 in 5th. I'm in Texas so I'm rarely running under 70 on the highways. Some of our Interstates are 80mph speed limit & she loves it!!!

Bout 60-70 mph before I hit 5th. I often find myself cruising along the highway at 70 mph in 4th just fine, then I remember, "oh yah, I've got another gear" and at 80 mph in 5th it sounds like it's barely even working hard.
