Will it fit 2005 sooner? Seems to me we can all save a lot of grief if we just buy the nut and put it on. Or if we could find out spec's of the nut we might be able to source locally. The made the change to the new set some time in 2005 most likely in the later part of 2005 after they became aware of the problem. Here is a link see item 72 & 73 you can check these against the 2006 part#'s as well. It's not only a prior to 06 Problem. Mine dropped off at speed on my 07 @ 48554 Miles. So EVERYONE needs to pay attention to this. Red Threadlock it. It seemed to me the metal is soft that bends down and locks into the grooves, over time it bends it back up and its same as a prior 06. If you don't believe me, I can provide witnesses.
