I had removed the tool kit a while back and can't find it anymore. Can anyone tell me what size that nut is underneath? Also that other little lock nut, when securing it into place how tight should it be or should it just "Rest" against the main nut?
on mine its a 32 and snug it up and that will hold it. And sorry about wrong info. 21/6"

I lowered my bike with the adjustable lowering kit and installed the eibach 1000# spring. rides great and almost never bottoms out unless the dip is really large.

Adjusting this nut, is it something that the bike is required to be lifted? I have a lift at home but if I get a chance to work on it tomorrow at work and don't have to have a lift, I could do it then.

I use a lift, I think it would be very difficult to do it with out the lift unless you have a hole that you can straddle...........

I didn't use a lift. But since you've lowered yours it might make it easier to get to the adjusting nut.The only benefit of a lift would be access.

I have he adjustable lowering kit too. It looks and feels great. I put the 4 inch fork extenders up front and now the bike looks really nice. However, the instruction for both items clearly noted that you must make a adjustments to your driving. My first few miles (or hundreds) i too dragged the pipe and my kick stand a few times. I have since found that i can ride as i wish with a few subtle changes to my cornering techniques. I had mine adjusted while i was on the bike so that they would be optimal for riding.

I have put leds under my rear fender and even though i feel like i have bottomed out, they are not touched at all.

I lowered mine with the flip and it came down about 2" once in a great while i'll scrap on the left boomarang frame cover but has never bottomed out, shortly after lowering i took the ride like a pro class and we did a lot of leaning and very sharp turns even the instructor commeted that he never heard in scrap in class
