New paint scheme 8 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi,

My ride is currently done out as in my sig pic. On its own it looks stunning, but when at shows or generally parked amongst other bikes the paint just disappears.

So, I am having it themed like the 1981 John Boorman movie "Excalibur". The base will be varying shades of green metal flake, and there will be images from the film airbrushed and blended into the base. The only certainty is that the lady of the lake's hand (and sword) will be on the front fender, with water effects streaming back.

At the moment, the design I'm doing for my paintman has only reached the base coat stage, but I'm pleased by the effect in photoshop so far.

All comments appreciated.

Can't go wrong with green. You're chrome side covers are standing out a little too much tho. I would paint them to match the bike if it were me.

And while we're changing things, maybe lower the back end a couple of inches. Can't go wrong with that! ha ha....

I don't know anything about that movie but I'm really digging the green.

Regards....greeny

That will look sweet. I agree with lowering it some, and maybe even some apes.

Very cool.

I can see it now. Girls at the show asking you to pull your sword out...

I agree, it looks great. It's a shame there isn't someone who could trade tanks and fenders with you to paint, because that factory color scheme is really nice too.

Looks sweet, and I'm always partial to apes. Don't paint your chrome covers, swap with me and then paint!

The T-bars are staying. I love the look. Also, the chrome sidepanels wont look out of place when the boomerang frame covers get put on.
