I was looking around on the net for engine guard chaps and since I didn't want fake leather I ordered these.

Has anybody ever tried them?

Not sure about this particular brand, but lots of people use them. I've been looking for a inexpensive set for myself, I ride in all kinds of nasty weather, and they keep a lot of the road off of you.

I LOVE them and keep them on my Roadie year-round...not that it ever rains in Washington.

But I got the fake leather ones to match my seat . $34 a couple years ago off of eBay from a Canadian maker. Still holding up great!

Yep, I've got 'em..... and use them during the colder days and winter months. Love 'em!

I've got the Yamaha Big Bar Engine Guards on my bike. The chaps fit like a glove.....

Front view

Rightside pocket ( there is one on the lefthand side too! ) with the STAR Concho

Shows both mounted ( note the strap that holds them in place. Easy on, easy off )

Sounds like they might fit the bars ok, I have the cobra big bars too. They should be delivered Monday just in time for cold weather and rain which starts tomorrow here.

There's a guy on ebay from Picton Ontario Canada that sell a variety of them but they are not leather. I've had mine for a couple of years and never a problem, I have the Yami bigbars on too. So for $70 approx. you can't go wrong.

I have been looking at these for my Linby bar too. But I was wondering: Do these allow enough air to the motor? I live in FL, so heat is an issue. Do y'all think these would be ok?
