Sure you could Cougar. Only times I get 50 is when my lady is riding with me. I scared her when she first started riding with me. I was coming back from Dalonega running about 70 with my feet on the highway pegs. Hit a long sweeper a little to fast and scrubbed the boards all the way through the curve. Sparks flying she was in tears said if I wanted her to ride with her I better not ever do that again. So in the mountains I do alot of coasting when she is on back. Slow way down going in a coast through most corners now.

I do my aggressive riding without her now..

Yea I know I am whooped bad, but she is worth it.

Doc
What do you need to know about my carb. I'm willing to dig in if I can work on getting better mileage. I really thought it was just the pipes and air cleaner. How can I figure out what I have??

Main jet
Pilot jet
Needle setup (clip,spacer, washers)

You will also need to check the float level. I like to do it on the bench as it's easier than when the carb is on the bike.

But before you rip anything apart .... take it out and try the WOT test to see how it performs.
