A buddy(geester)and I were riding a few months back and he plowed over a chicken. I was following so I was the recipient of the parts, pieces and feathers. Still find feathers from time to time on the bike.

I hate to say it but this makes me chuckle. Still finding feathers...

I've hit a possum, 2 coons and a cat on the bike. I have hit a couple deer with a car but not with a bike (knocking on wood). I had a buck run in front of me just yesterday but not all that close. It was enough to get my attention. They've been real active the last couple weeks.

Hit an Albino squirrel, thought it was a white cat it was so big. Went back to check and it was the biggest squirrel I've ever seen. Never hit anything else, almost hit a bird once, but it got away.

Man, I expected stories about cats and dogs. Not COWS and ELEPHANTS!!!

Deer are always what I'm most worried about here in AR. The one I came close to last night was on the interstate!

+1, I commute from S.W. Mo to Rogers, Ar. every day and deer are always a hazard.

Hit a chipmunk - ran over him after the bike in front took him down. Also, hit a large Husky dog at 40 MPH - probably 40 or 50 lbs - couldn't get around him so I figured hang tight, keep a straight line and hit him square center - he spun around like a top and took off into the night. That was 30 years ago. Last week was my next encounter - running 70 mph on back road, a huge Turkey Buzzard flew out of the trees and turned right in front of me to try to out run me . I backed off the throttle and ducked down enough to go under him by just a few inches! I now know what a buzzard's butt looks like up close.

I got smashed in the face by a Junebug one time doing 80 miles an hour. It was comparable to being hit in the face by a brick! I pulled over to green bug guts smeared all over my face and a welt the size of a softball!

I had a very large racoon hit me last summer,it ran right into the side of front wheel and I took it out with the front of frame so it crapped all down the side of my bike, then to top off my night I dropped my bike at the end of my driveway in the sand so the right side was covered in dirt, the next day
was the saddest I have ever seen my bike look

Axis buck ran out in front of my gpz 1100 about 12 years ago. Doin' about 65, went down hard. Bent the forks, broke the windshield. The measurements show I slid 178 feet. Still don't have fingerprints on a couple of fingers. Had a ride in an ambulance, but I was standing up when they arrived. Nothing broken, just left a lot of skin on the road.

Clipped the ass end of a turkey a couple of years ago, He flew across the road in front of me and lost a few tail feathers in the process. I'm glad it wasn't a direct hit cause that bird got REAL big when it was up close & personel. I whacked a deer with my subaru beater a couple of months ago $2,200 in damage. My wife hit a 10 pt buck about 15 yrs ago and totaled out a leased ford explorer. If she had the small car it probably would have come thru the windshield, and that wouldn't have been pretty.
I was riding last week when I picked up movement on my right side, And when I looked there was this deer running full blast alongside me Now, What to do slow down or speed up I figured that if I slowed, The S.O.B. would cut right in front of me so I hammered it and got away from the situation.
I don't know why deer will run with all they have to try to get in front of you to cut across, When they can walk across in back of you

Only broken bones I've ever had was from hitting a friggen' Dalmation.

Did no damage to him, but put me on crutches for 12 weeks...

I hate Dalmations...
