Hello Roadstar Afficionados, I have a question, has any of you installed a Digital Speedometer to the Roadie?? If you have, what brands do you recommend? Thanks in advanced.

The only one I know of was takehikes. It was a small aftermarket one. To the best of my knowledge I think he got it working!

Yah takehikes has the Motogadget Mini , thats what I used here's a bad pic, it's really easy to read day or night, it has speed/rpm/odo/trip and travel time.It takes a bit to get use to when seting it up but good after that. Pricy though. Oh and the wires are microscopic I mean you use your finger nails to strip them there so small.

Got mine for my 2001 at http://www.wire-plus.com/Products_ep_53.html. I ran the wires inside the bars and it works great.

Those units from DD sure are pricey but I may have to mark that on my list of thing to do. I wonder though what would you do with the factory dash and speedo?
