I'm interested in one too! Better safe than sorry.

I will find the price today and post it here. Anybody who want one can PM me.

One note, these cables are performance rated as Randy build race bikes, so they have more strands then the OEM and are wound tighter. They comply with the Salt flats regulations. And I guarantee they are cheaper then you can buy any where else.

Check a local custom shop or M/C salvage yard. Most keep spools of cable on hand and they can make one for you for just a few bucks.

True,

However, you need and adjustable barrel at the lever end and you wont find that at a junk yard. I will post the price and a pic of mine shortly

OK,
Here are the pick of mine

I can have them made for $25.00 ( I am not making anything on this deal but i think they are a necessity for anybody who may ride distant or away from help)and shipping should only be about $2-$3.

I can have them made with in one day. They are MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR star bikes and they come with a cable that is 10 inches longer then needed so you can adjust as needed. If you want one, just PM me and i will send the PayPal instructions. Once you order, they will ship same day. Randy has the specs on most bikes so if you need one for another type of bike let me know.

The end that is soldered on, goes to the clutch lever and the other end, the adjustable end goes to the clutch pull handle?

, my clutch cable broke.

Yup that happen to me too, in Colorado. Happen to me about 75 miles to Pagosa Springs on Hiway 160. Pagosa Springs Yamaha said they couldn't sell me the cable on their floor model Roadstar. They didn't carry any either, said that they were a snowmobile store acting like a motortcycle shop for the summer. Rode to Cortez with friends of mine screaming that they were going to die cause I was really going pretty fast to get to Cortez to get a cable. They had an old school mech that rebuilt my clutch cable right then and there. Lasted me 3 more years after that. From that time I always carried a spare clutch cable!!!!
