Garage door opener 2 Years, 11 Months ago
Came home from a test ride this morning and being cold, the gloves and hopping on and off the bike to put it away was a pain. Had heard of some automatic garage door openers for bikes and thought I would do a little digging. This one is for a BMW but think it could be adapted to the R*. It's a lot cheaper than the original MOTO Madness design, just not sure how well it will work on my garage.

Here's a link to 4 different ones. Don't know which would be the best though.

wife got me mine for Christmas two years ago so she didnt have to jump off the bike anymore. It operates off the high/low beam switch. works great. not a fun to watch as his in the skirt, but works.

I velcro'd one of my openers to the inside of my windshield/handlebar bag which is mounted on the top of my risers. Easy to get to and works from about 200 yards away. Just push it as I'm rolling up and drive right in.

Cheap, easy fix. If you don't have a spare you can get one at Home Depot or Lowe's for $20-30.

TBD
