#4323 davehrn (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 262 How to clean crystalized brake fluid? 6 Years, 3 Months ago   Ok, this isn't for a roadstar, I've got a friend who's had a 1981 KZ440 LTD in his garage for about 16 years. I've told him I'd try to get it running, nice winter project.. keeps my wrenching skills sharp and maybe he'll get his bike back on the cheap.. so I actully got the engine to fire once (not duplicated yet) by rebuilding and cleaning the carbs... still need to do some cleaning in the carbs, but that's not my current problem.. Right now, I'm working on the non-functioning front brakes... when I opened the master cylinder I found that the brake fluid had crystalized into an almost solid mass, I've cleaned manually most of it out, but does anyone have any suggestions for cleaning out all the nooks and passages.. any input will be greatly appreciated ~D   Logged     Flash & His Bike...
