Hell if I make 1/10th that much on a new Roadstar I'd be thrilled. So they made 3 or 4 Grand (average margin for an HD dresser) on the Electra Glide & will make a couple more on your trade-in. Must be rough! The dealer offered me 2k more on the trade than I thouight they would. 4 months later the FatBob is still sitting on the dealers floor. Lots and lots of used bikes for sale with few buyers especially in the fall. Be happy with your deal, just because they are asking it doesnt mean they are going to get it. Last month we paid $4200 for our 01 Roadie. 3k in accessories, new tires, just serviced, not mint condition but very close to.
