So Scott what did it cost you to do both tires with the ride on?

The Ride-On site has 3 8 oz bottles for $44.85 which probably doesn't include shipping and I've seen the same amount on E-Bay for $52.95 with shipping included.

For our stock tires the recommended amounts are 8 oz front and 9 oz rear. Now if you want it to balance the tires also then you have to add 25% more to each tire.

Oh, and they make a special formula for motorcycles so if you're on E-Bay make sure that's what you're getting.

I'm convinced that Ride On is the way to go (for me anyway). I guess my next question for scott would be:
Do you store your bike in th winter? What happens to the Ride On with the bike sitting on the jack for 3 - 4 months? Does it clump at the bottom?

yes it does but per directions, you ride the bike and the Ride-On redistributes again

Looks like that's what I'll be doing then.
Thanks for all the info....this site is invaluable for trying new (to me) products. Always seems like someone here has at least tried the product and there is usually a review.

====================

Not sure,it may do that depending on temp bike is stored in but doesnt matter because as soon as you take 1st ride for sseaon the ride-on will flow back out re-ballancing tires after riding a few miles down the road.

Just think,some of the dyna beads fall to bottom of the tires every time you stop and they do just fine keeping the tires ballanced.

I havent had any issues with the ride-on keeping my bikes tires ballanced in as low as 40 deg to as high as 100deg thus far.

Not trick to it. I bought a starter kit which included a bottle and hose. Put your valve stem at 7 or 5 oclock and putem in.

And remember if you don't buy there "valve stems" which you don't need.Just give a shot of air before checking the tire pressure,in the event that the beads are sitting in or close to the valve after you have run them for awhile.I put 2 new Metzlers on the beast in the spring. Broke in for about 150 miles, then buried the speedo.No problems,
