Broken Driving Light 4 Years, 8 Months ago
Ever since I bought my new 07 Roadstar, the right side driving light always is un-level. The dealer and myself have straightened it out maybe ten times in two months... It looks like the light bulb moves within the chrome unit.
Now I just noticed a large crack right acrossed the front of the entire bulb. Don't recall being hit by a rock. Could it be vibration ???
My bike doesn't vibrate that much. I did just install the eye brows on all three front lights. Maybe it is in wrong. Will know Tuesday at the dealership. they are going to put on my new 950 lb Barons spring so I don't bottom out any more. (hopefully)

My left side driving light has rotated like that.Had to take it loose
and reset it. I think they vibrate loose over time, and I also don't
think the gasket is tight enough. Never had one break,YET.
Hope you get it figured out.

My left side passing light lens rotated on me also... I noticed it after I was hitting the rev limiter all day. Think it's that .." harmonic vibration".. again that Yamaha warned me about.

Why is it the LEFT side only ???? If I had vibration it would be the entire front end, wouldn't it ????

I am going to Yamaha on Tuesday. Wanna bet I pay for a new lite !!!!!

Cuz left turns are longer so you spend more time leaning left causing gravity to pull on it longer.

Took my bike to Libbys in New Haven Connecticut today. They replaced the lite for free w/o question.

They spent three hours putting a 950 lb Barons spring on the bike to replace the 730 OEM spring. they charged me $112.67 for labor with tax... Bike rides great, especially on the highway. Took her up to 85 over the bridge and didn't feel the bridge at all.... very pleased...

Now you have to replace the front springs with Progressive springs and you will be in heaven!
