I done dood it! 6 Months ago
Well it finally happened. After 9yrs of riding and clocking close to 200k miles in that time. Today was the 1st time I ran out of gas, bone dry. No fuel gauge, so I go by my exhaust to start popping a bit, then I switch to reserve, sooo, reach down, and ...uh-oh, already in reserve position, hmmm, there's a gas station about a mile or 2 up the road I know, got about another 100yds, and knew I was not gonna make it! It's nice to have Roadside service, took about half hour, brought me 2 gals. Seems a road Gremlin got in my storage shed and flipped the switch. I think I better reattach my riding Bell. Darn Gremlins!!! LOL

Funny you should mention this. I went to a local dealer (in Canada) to price a new sending unit just this afternoon. Long story short, I think I will contact TimB and see if he can help out.

It bugs the heck out of me that it's not working anymore.

Glad you made out ok Erbman.

Damn, glad that's all it was. Thought it was going to be something serious . Like too much anti-freeze in the tires,or the oil level in the headlight got low.
