Senior Boarder Posts: 300 Salvage bikes 6 Months ago   Does anyone on here know of anywhere that has or deals in salvage bikes? There are plenty of salvage yards/parts groups for cars. I don't know of any that stock pile damaged or salvage bikes. With winter time approaching, it would be great to get my hands on something that needs to be rebuilt. With all the floods and earthquakes and natural disasters occuring all over the country, One would think there would be thousands of bikes insurance adjusters simply write off. They've got a few R*'s on there right now. You will need to become a member to bid, and they have a section that doesn't require a dealer's license to buy. I bought my current MH thru them as a repo. Saved about 40G's. They have several HD's and even a set of HD bags that are bid at $65 right now.
