Anything that adds chrome to your bike is good
I think the loud pipes would be more than enough...Ever been deer hunting? Crack a stick bam they are gone!

Hey pop

they don't work, you can but them for cars and they don't work either.

BUT, if you whistle really, really, loud, and with your pipes and lights the whistle thing may work.

where's the beer

Re:Deer Alert 4 Years, 7 Months ago
Word of advice. Friends returned from Sturgis this year and they had to spend 4 days longer cause one of the group hit a deer and ended up in the hospital. All were riding loud bikes and the deer darted out after the first 3 bikes had passed and the 4th guy was the one that hit the deer had 2 more bikes behind him also. So guess what?? Loud pipes don't mean Sh-- to deer!!!! I guess they are just dumb animals

I mounted an old style wind whistle under each floorboard.

Probably doesn't work worth a hoot , but does give me a little peace of mind knowing that it is there.

Hey Pop try a string of beer cans behind your scoot or maybe an Oscar meyer weiner whistle or maybe pee on your tires .....personally I think they are too used to us.... treat a deer in the road like a squirel dont try to avoid it and you will miss it ....maybe ...... just have to slow down in areas you know they are in....a little luck helps....Coug

Yea, you never know which way they're going to go when they're standing along side the road....and if you see one go across the road, there's normally another waiting to cross behind it so stay alert. I run that gauntlet every day. I run a back country road at 0400hrs and i count up to 10 beside the road, on the lawns just watching me go by. I just slow down cause i know they're there. I like venison, but not with any "Roadie rash" on it....besides, bulletts are cheaper.

ride safe

Yup on my Goldwing and I can tell you for sure they are a nice chrome gimmick. They have to be mounted in the exact right location to get the wind. I rode right past 3 deer standing beside the road eating. Not one of them lifted their head. It was pretty clear at that point that all I had was some usless chrome. Havn't even thought of putting them on the roady. IMHO
