removing stickers 4 Years, 7 Months ago
So I got the bike and I have these ugly yama warning stickes on my tank and windshield, and since I am in Canada, I got two of each, I tried peeling them off but that does not work so well.

Is there a simple way of getting them off my bike that will not harm the finish on the tank or the windshield

Thanks

Use a hair dryer and warm them up then use your thumb nail to peal. The warning stickers will come off in pieces, but with persistance they will come off. Goo Gone cleans up the residue. The Yamaha sticker on the rear fender comes off easily with heat and peel.

Thumbnail and Goo Gone. Thats what I used too. Hairdryer might have made it quicker. Wouldnt take anything for my Yamaha Badges though lol. Some people dont like em and want a cleaner look, I think they complete the look. Thats why bikes are so fun though. Everyone likes something different. The only ones I removed were the windshield one and the tank. Later

Thanks a lot, I will grab the hair dryer while my wife is at work , she is still pissed off that I got the new bike, so no point telling her about the dryer

Cheers

I used to be a manager at a parts store and I still cant figure out why everything 3M puts their name on is gold lol. Its true though, just about everything with the 3m name on it works great.
