If I were to go for a trike it would have to be one like this. Don't like the upholstery though. http://www.theextrememachine.com/Pictures.html

Wow. That's bigger than most cars!

Thing I hate about spyders is that you can get a motorcycle license with one. I would like to see someone that has only ever riden a spyder (one pedal for brakes, no clutch, 3 wheels) get on a bike and successfully ride it. They would be a danger to themselves and anyone else on the road, yet it's completely legal.

I'd ride one, for sure.

Black out that puppy in flat, lose all the shiny stuff, breath on the engine or maybe NOS. It would be bad azz!! Stealth street fighter, post apocalypse ride!!

The states assume that most people would have better control over themselves. I know how to fly Piper Cubs and similar aircraft. Yet I would not take the pilot in command seat in any twin engine aircraft that retractable landing gear without proper training.

It appears to have a GM-671 blower on it. Click on one of the pics that has a view of the top of the engine and zoom in. With just a little work that could be 1000 Hp on three wheels.

It's not a 6-71, but it's supercharged! I'm sure it would give quite a thrill ride, but I'm still trying to figure how it would steer with such a long tiller from the driver's seat to the steering head!

AND, that steering tiller would have to flex up and down alot, making it feel awfully insecure!

It could use some engineering help in that department......

I ride to ride. Not much of a fashion or style type person. I really don't care what others preference are at all. As you said, I'd give the token wave to anyone - 4, 3, or 2 wheels.

The mods I make are for me. No one else really. They keep me occupied and make ME feel good and involved with my bike when the kickstand is down. I like looking at other peoples work for inspiration and amazement. Too many other things in life that are more worthy of concern. What someone wants to ride is definately not on that list!

Ride safely!

I agree with the Warden. My buddy traded his wide glide for one last summer (never told me why and i never asked). Rode with him and his wife on a few rides and they were all smiles.

Y'know... that Can-Am rider may actually have a HUGE set of nuggets and he's hoping someone has a set just big enough to say something to his face about what he rides. Not too likely that will happen.

The only time my big self got on one it looked kinda like this... so it isn't my kinda ride but I'm happy for anyone that does ride one.

As far as trikes go... I WILL have one in the future. I was going to buy a 350 Chevy powered trike before I got the Roadie but it had been sold. For me, the V8 shown earlier is all out of proportion. Too long and seats too high but it's a nice ride. And the Boss Hoss trikes are too short for me. This Brit trike is more to my liking.. or this US trike...

But, they are all good for someone!
