Two rushes 5 Months, 1 Week ago  
So after almost two years of building and rebuilding my bikes design is buttoned down. However, over the two years, I have some " imperfections" as a result, like chips in my georgouse paint, and clear comming off my plated parts where I touched them with one chemical or another.

So at the end of this week, I am stripping her down and having all the clear redone and touched up. I am also having a repaint. I have never had the time to do all do this because I would rather be riding but on January 4th I go under the knife to fix my back giving me a window during which I couldn't drive anyway. The paters are doing this all for free and my painter is doing the tank for the mere cost of the paint and art work. I am extremely excited to see the final product.


My second major rush comes from the news I got from my oldest son last week that I will be a grandfather in July


So, if I can make it to the AZ Bikeweek, 2012 is starting to look like a good year for me already

I hope all of you share my good luck and have a safe and fun christmas ( oops, can I say that here?) season and a great new year

Good luck Dragoon...hope all goes well under the knife...and ya..grandkids...between blood,steps,and foster kids..I've got 12 who call me grandpa..and I'm only 57....out of 5 kids/stepkids there are still 2 boys who haven't even started to have kids yet..I shudder to think of my Christmas (sry) list when I'm 70...oh well..I just hope there's lots and I'm still riding..

Prayers offered for your back surgery. Never a good thing. Post some pics of the finished product or even the work in progress. We're always looking for tips and ideas. Congrats Grandpa to be. Got a grandson now and, hopefully, a granddaughter in May.

On a side note, how did your neice do on her film assignment? Any results yet.
