rear tire on front 5 Months, 1 Week ago
I know some run a rear tire on front. Which way is better with the direction tire is supposed to spin or reversed. I know i have seen both mentioned so just curious whats better. Its time for a new front tire so figured id ask opinions. Of course i could also ask which brand but i know thats almost as taboo as oil, politics and religion.

The topic itself almost rates up there with oil discussions. Many opinions on this one especially if you're running a "darkside".

I'm running mine in reverse also. But read on the Delphi darkside forum that it is ok to run them in the correct direction.

Climate may play a part, it's warm here - I didn't like the Bridgestones or Metzlers. I've recently gone back to Dunlop 404's. Unknown to me the dealer put a front on the rear. I researched it - the Dunlop site says only use a front tire on the front and a rear on the the rear, they said the way they are laminated if they're turned to run reversed they can be interchanged. I got them to get me a rear for the rear.
