Torc interstate T 22 helmet with Bluetooth review 5 Months, 1 Week ago
I just thought I might let people who may be interested in one of these helmets know what I thought about it. This is a helmet with built in Bluetooth and stereo speakers and microphone. I got this because of a couple of reasons. It has a built in blinc III module made just for this helmet.

First of all I have to be able to be reached due to my job 24/7 so as much as I like to get away on my bike I have to be able to take a quick call. The helmet worked great for this and paired with my iPhone easily. It has the capability of using voice control dialing and I was able to hear a call and have the other side hear me well up to about 65-70 mph without any difficulty. Answering a call is a simple touch of the button on the side.

Secondly I cannot stand to wear ear buds and wanted to listen to music, and or hear my gps. The music sounds great and does not drown out the outside sounds I could hear it up to the speed limit (and a ways beyond just fine.) Since I use the gps in my iPhone it cut in and cut down the music volume so it too could be heard great at all speeds nice and clear.

Third I wanted a system where I could talk to other riders or my wife on the back. My wife has a blinc II module I put on her helmet and I find that I can hear her just fine, and one of my friends has one on his helmet and it works out as long as he is not to far away
Fit and finish of the helmet is great, I really like the darkened shield that you can have come down, very nice for those of us that have to wear glassed

Anyways just in case you were interested or looking for a relatively cheap option for a Bluetooth helmet or communication system I cannot recommend it enough

let the flames begin from thoose who dont think you should answer a phone on a motorcycle

I have the Scala Q2 set and I am the same way, need to have the phone available 24/7. Love mine, works great as well. Also paired with GPS and LG cell phone, but the Scala has FM built in so I can listen to the radio and hear news and weather updates when on the long runs.
