Looks great!

Thanks for all the pics and info/advince! I've been thinking about doing this very thing with the wheels on my orange 400 D*. I'm liking that idea more and more after seeing these pics!

Ive only detailed my rimz once " in 30,000 miles .. so they look powdercoated black.. Ive been busy buildin a new 'shop" for the Toys I swear ill keep em clean from now on .. I swear .. can I say that.. swear? hope Im not edited

if they tape the inside off it doesn't matter none will get in there..

I just mounted them on the bike the other day, still have the bike on my lift, I'll get some pics maybe today.

I did the taping myself but the shop took off my tyres and did the powdercaoting. It cost me 60 Euros per Wheel so 120 euros. It probably will cost the same in the USA.

I want the same look as you have workharddieproud. What are you going to seal them with to eliminate using tubes again???

has anybody just pc the spokes left the rims chrome ? The rims on my 05 look great but I hate cleaning crappy spokes (THEY HAVE been tarnished for awile).
