Bike you have ever been on. Let's keep it basically stock.
For me the baddest was an early 70's Triumph Trident 750 triple with shorty pipes. The bike was simply a nasty piece of heavy metal oozing with power you could feel just sitting there. Can't really explain it but I have never felt a machine quite like that. Just mean metal.
The quickest was a Kawasaki Mach 3 500cc triple 2 stroke with 3 expansion chambers. Took it up to our neighborhood 1/4 mile stretch to see what it could do. Got it rolling to about 20mph then opened it up.
I quickly found out what the little "flip up" on the back of the one piece bench seats was for. If it wasn't for that I would have been on the rear fender. They came out with a 750 also but I never got to try one.

Oh yeh------GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the 70's my grandfathers weld shop"BLACKIE'S WELDING WORKS" of C.C.TX. worked on three KZ900's for C.C. KAWASAKI and I got to ride them before we stripped them down to drag bikes, bare frame, shifted the foot controls to the rear added wheelie bars,etc... then they pulled the motors and stroked them to 1300's,with pure alcohol.
SHOULD OF SEEN THE FLAMES AT THE NIGHT TIME DRAG'S."BAD ASS FLAMES!"
Couldn't see a thing at day time...

Early 70's Kawasaki H1, bad fast in the 1/4. Don't remember the size but it handled poorly and brakes were at best lousy. But man off the line nothing on the street could stay with it. The one I rode belonged to a friend of mine and he wrecked it and messed himself up pretty bad. Stone stock it would turn under 13 in a 1/4 mile run. Pretty fast for back in those days.

I used to own an R6; and while I know there are bigger, badder bikes, it could go from 0 - 120mph before the end of an onramp! Not that I ever did this myself mind you... And let's just say that I have a pretty good idea what 150mph feels like on a motorcycle. But even so, ridding my friends 2001 GSXR 750 made the R6 feel tame by comparison. It was't quite as agile as the R6, but the power was impressive and I can only imagine what the even bigger bikes are capable of.

I rode a 350 Kawasaki Triple and my friend had a 500 Triple. Those were the fastest bikes you would want to own back then. High speed tail wagging was common and VERY dangerous.

That year they came out with the 750 "Widow Maker" and our eyes bugged out, since we already had fast bikes.

Thank God engineering has come a long way in frame and suspension development .... or else you would've seen many more wrecks and scoots would have fallen out of popular favor!

First street bike I ever owned....1984 Honda V65 Magna, that son of a gun would FLY! My brother in law, who is 24 has a 2008 R1, I rode it and I cannot even begin to explain the power. It was fun as heck to ride but at 47 the riding position was hell on my back...lol.

2001 Hyabusa. Got up to 140MPH. Never left 3rd gear. Will go from 30-100 in 3rd in about 4 seconds. In-friggin sane.

I will get one when I find out I have a terminal illness that will kill me slowly.
