Yamaha Logo from the Oil Tank 4 Years, 7 Months ago  
I was noticing a few days ago that on my buddys 04 Roadstar there is a yamaha emblem on the oil tank on either side. My bike is an 07 silverado and it didnt come with those emblems. I remember him saying something was different about his bike, it came from a yamaha show or something. Its a factory paint black and white bike that looks alot like a police bike. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some of those logos. Also wondering if anyone knew where I could get a studded factory rider and passenger seat and backrest short of yamaha. Thanks for your time and hopefully someone can shed some light on those emblems and why that bike had em. Or if its just something they stopped doing in recent years. Personally I like all the badging on the bike. Gives me braggin rights to the harley guys lol. Not to mention cobalt blue and silver being the fastest bikes.

I might be buying a ultimate seat at income tax time if you can wait that long. my stock studded seat is in excellent condition. I wasnt planning on buying the rear pillion but I might be able to be talked into it..lol

You sound like me. I been planning to get the Corbin around tax time. I'll keep it in mind though. Ya never know if i will find one by then. awhile till tax time but not too long lol. We'll have to stay in touch on it.

Are you talking about the badges on the side covers?


Try looking in the For sale / Want to buy folder on the Road Star Riders forum for seats.

yes, those are exactly like his. The 07's dont have em. But the ones on your bike are exactly it.

Some members here have taken them off and might still have them laying around. Or you should be able to get them from Yami. I don't think the sidecovers changed from 06 to 07 so the badges should fit from an 06.

Thanks Musky for the quick reply. I guess I'll wait and see if anyone has em and in the meantime check with Yami on the price of them. Man I love this site. Can only think of one thing I like better than this site lol and I cant mention it here.lol
