I'm going to kill a cat ! 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
A few weeks ago I see some oily crap on my right side fork. I had no idea what it was. When I cleaned it off my fork and rim it took the finish off with it. Now my right side fork looks like crap.

Well a few minutes ago. I found out what the happend to my bike ! It's a nice day and I was going to take a short ride. So I have my bike sitting in the sun out in the driveway.

I get up to get another cup of coffee and look out the kitchen window at my bike and what do I SEE !!!!! I see two cats ! One is on my seat sharpening his nails and the other one has his tail and ass pointing high in the sky and he's spraying some .... all over the front of my bike. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to get out there so fast I think I broke my kitchen door. I couldn't catch those cats but I sure did chase them a long way. I got a real good look at them and if I see them anywhere near my bike again I don't think they'll be going home ! Unless they can out run a .22 bullet !

I'll try to post a picture of the damage. In the mean time. Has this ever happend to your forks ? If it did, how did you fix it ?

Not to the forks but I did have one use my backrest as a scratching post. Talk about pissed, it was my nabors cat and I allready didnt' like the guy.

Can't help with the damage control, but I can tell you that .22 CB caps (basically a .22 short without powder) are awesome for *pest* control. No more noise than a pellet gun, but a much heavier projectile and better knock down. They're powered by only the primer. They will fire out of any .22 gun that will shoot shorts, but don't cycle a slide in a semi-auto- you'll have to manually cycle them. I hate feral cats and the people who let them roam because they don't want to crimp their freedom. Good luck.

I have had problems with cats before. If you are going to shoot them may I recommend baiting them with something besides your bike. I know somebody that shot their car once because of a cat Obviously I have no problem with killing cats. Good huntin
