Loose Hose???? 4 Years, 7 Months ago

I was cleaning the chrome on my 07 Silverado on sunday when I notice behind the air box there is a hose thats loose hanging. Its right behind the rear top screw(the three screws in the box) It looks almost like a pcv valve or something on the end of the hose or at the least a plastic insert in the hose made to stick in something. I thought it was odd it just hanging there. Is this normal or where does it go. I know its not alot to go on without seeing it but I'm gonna take a shot. If need be I'll take a pic of it with my digital camera so you can see it exactly. If anyone knows what I'm talkin about or if I'm making any sense let me know lol. Later, Nick

It's a vent hose atomospheric Diaphram equalizer dooflopper. It's supposed to be just hangin there with the PCV looking doodad on it. You're good to go. Sorry to get so technical.
