Mud Guard... 6 Years, 2 Months ago
I would like to change out my sheet metal, and it's all easy for me to understand, but...
How can I remove my mud guard without removing my wheel?
I'm sure a jointed socket wrench adapter might, but I don't know.
I could go and try it, but I ain't the best wrench of the bunch, so I'd rather get some
feedback if possible.

There's four screws that hold it on, and it looks like it'd be a tight squeeze to get to
it with anything.

I have a stock sized rear wheel and tire on it too, the majority of the bike it stock-ish.
The front fender, back fender, side covers and the fuel tank is not a problem for me.

Thanks guys for any help, I'd appreciate it!

"jointed socket wrench adapter"

That's what I've used.

It's a real pain to get off with the tire still on but I'm too lazy to take it off

Thanks Doc, I appreciate the answer.
That's kind'a what I figured, and I don't know about just being lazy, if it can be done and save one from having to re-align the rear wheel, it's worth it!

Thanks, and if anyone else has a magic potion, I'd like to hear it, although, I kind'a know better...
