Solo w/ Backrest? 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I was wondering if mustang makes a solo seat w/ back rest for an 05 r*? If my bike doesn't sell I was thinking of buying one to help with the wind blowing against me. I do not have a place for a rear passenger. Can a two piece seat with backrest be taken apart to make a solo?

I just split my mustang for a solo set-up this season and fitted a mustang fender bib. Looks great, no problem. I don't know about the back rest. The front of the rear seat used to give great back support. I'll see how this goes once the snow is gone.

I have the Mustang seat that was for the backrest. It was purchased that way and a buddy gave it to me without the back rest so I made a mod for my Ultimate backrest and used it.

You have several options:

1. A replacement seat cover for the rider seat using your seat pan $199. Along with a solo backrest that is adjustable while riding and mounts under seat $219. Both made by E.D.Seats and available from me for a total of $418.

2. Any E.D.Seat with combo solo backrest $504.

Here is just a sample photo of a Standard E.D. Rider seat with solo backrest:

3. Just a solo backrest which will work with your current seat or most others available $219.

4. Depending on your height and inseam a Low/forward seat with slot for detachable backrest $465.

All the above prices include a 5% discount that I give to all members of the forum. If you want studs or any custom work as mentioned in another thread I started { New Service Available From E.D.Seats w/pics} then it would be additional.

If you have any interest you can contact me here or at mike@edseats.ca

Re:Solo w/ Backrest? 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Chief, My bike is basically setup like curts. So my question is will ONLY the backrest work or would I need to buy the seat setup that is shown in the bottom picture? I might possibly be able to buy either setup by the end of the month. Thanks,
Michael
