I know you all are not really into sport bikes but it is very interesting and what he says at the end should make you happy. I just thought WOW this guy is really lucky. And I think a great deal less painful than the pound of flesh I'd leave on the ashpalt & 2 weeks in the hospital that would follow. I've seen non-armored leather jackets that run $500 I'd buy one of those before I'd spend $1000 on chrome fluff and do-dads for my bike. Just my 2 cents worth. And what happened to him is the main reason I NEVER ride freeways. To get anywhere you just about have to hit one of the freeways...I-75, I-85, I-20,I-285, I-675, I-985, GA 400...it's maddening! I prefer the route less traveled it's just sometimes I don't have the time it takes to ride it. Through Atlanta in a car is like being a stunt driver. I live 14 km from work. It takes me 20-25 minites on regular city streets. If I took the highway in the morning it would take me .... 20-25 minutes. If I do take the higway at off peak hours I can cut 5 minutes off my drive. ..... and I think my traffic is retarded.
