Baffle help 4 Years, 7 Months ago
Hey fellas,
I have the Vance and Hines short shots staggered exhaust. I removed the baffles today just for the heck of it. Now besides being a lot louder and annoying the neighbors, and losing some back pressure, what is it hurting by leaving the baffles out? Is it hurting anything on the bike? Thanks for your help,
JM

Possibly your eardrums...believe me, I like loud as you can tell by my pipes...just make sure you wear earplugs when riding to protect the hearing!

probably nothing more than a drop in back pressure that may affect performance. That and all the extra looks from the Law Enforcement types

Lost a baffle from my propipe in Arkansas, can attest to the fact that you : A , loose power, B, loose hearing. Other than that, you should be fine. BB

You won't hurt anything and I think the Roadie has enough grunt to make up for a small loss in BP.
