Hey Curt ....Yes it will work but thinking I my just weld my hidden hitch on. Was thinking if I ever sell I could put it back to stock. Not sure at this point. I still need to fit up the hitch to the bike and see how much room I have to bolt it up or weld it on. Picked up all the parts for the trailer so kinda work with that now.

Yes I have toyed with the idea of welding a hitch on the sub frame after beefing it up too. I don't have any need to do it now but it has crossed my mind as a mod for others with a trailer. Good looking job on the sub frame did you go ahead and use 1/4" bar?

TWO DAYS AGO I HAD SEEN ONE ON FLEA-BAY,BUT COULD NOT TELL YOU IF IT WAS A 1600 OR 1700 SUB-FRAME. ABOUT 20 PAGES INTO "ROAD STAR" FOR SEARCH.

Yes went with the 1/4" work out OK. Here is a shot of the start of the trailer. Harbor had then for $189:00 couldn't pass it up. I price all the piece parts and was up to $200 without building it.
