I got stopped twice right after I got my R* one was a MC cop and I was doing 65 in a 45 he just gave me a warning and let me go after we talked bikes. The other was a local cop and was my age so he said "just slow it down". Your speed would be at least $350 here in Texas sure hope ya get a good attorney.

All the advice I can give is, slow down.
First of all, get rid of that excuse. Getting rid of carbon? Hitting the rev limiter in all gears? Really?
Do you know your engine doesn't care what gear your in? 4K rpms is the same in first gear as it is in 5th gear? So don't use that nonsense in court.
For the charge you are facing, I hope you have money. You are going to need to hire an lawyer. You can very well lose your license for this or best case senario, keep your license but not be able to afford the insurance to drive for a long time.
If you were clocked with technology, radar or laser gun and the cop shows up for your case, you are probably finished without a lawyer. THe judge won't even want to talk to you if you don't have a lawyer representing you. The only thing you will be asked is, "what do you have to say for yourself" Nothing you can say will make any difference. Your lawyer will be able to work you out a deal. You will never have to say a word.
I am sorry if this sounds brutal, but I am being honest. It is what it is. Slow down and get a lawyer. Tell him you screwed up and ask him if he can help you to move on from your mistake. That's all. Man up and learn from this. And please be safe from here on out.

At 21 you should have more sense than that. Your going to kill yourself or someone else. Hope you learn a good lesson. If you do then maybe you can live as long as some of us and enjoy the ride.

First thing you do need an Attorney. I'm not familiar with Arizona law but working as a State Trooper here in Ky for 25 yrs anything 25mph over the posted limit is mandatory court appearance and if found guilty loss of license for 1 yr. and a very large fine. If they have traffic school there and you have a clean driving record you may get to keep your license pay a fine and attend traffic school(re:the need for the Attorney)

Anyway just remember that you are not invinceable. We all do at your age but some find out the hard way.

As far as to those wishing you bad dealings on this, hope they have never had a ticket nor done anything wrong in their life. Seems like a good young guy made a mistake, comes here for advice, and gets hammered by some.

Yea i know i was in the wrong I fully accept that. sometimes I do like to go a little fast , but than agsain i know im not the only one. I just happin to get caught. And i dont make other bikers look BAD its was 9 o clock at night, no other tracific for a mile and no way for people to be on this road, and no way other cars would be able to pull out in front of me, I thought about all this before I did it. I just didnt think about the police cop with the radar, hiding at the exit point. No need for the RUDE comments, Im sure everyone here was young and made mistakes at some point in there like. When I asked the cop what I can expect in court, he said maybe jail time, or a minimum of a 500 dollar fine. But when I was getting on my bike, the other cop (there were 2 cops) said I wont get jail, probaly just a fine. The cops said they wrote in the report I was very calm, repectful, nice, and had manners. He said that would help me with the judge.

I know my previous post was harsh. It wasn't meant to be an attack. It was truthful opinion. If he truly has a clean record, I hope this was a mistake and not a habit. I hope he can learn from this. The " I was just cleaning out carbon nonsense just strikes me as avoiding responsibility. You are 21 (you posted) So it's time to mature. If you can use this as a learning experience, I hope you do. That's all.
