Curious 2 Years, 6 Months ago
I have noticed while on this and other forums relating to Stars that fellow riders often have more than 1 Star bike. often same bike but different year. I am curious and would be interested in hearing from fellow Star riders, their story as to why they have more than 1 Star?

If I had the cash I think I'd collect them all!!!

The maintenance and cleaning is hard to keep up with though.

I want another for a bagger.

Current bikes:
05 R* Bobber
09 Heritage

BTW, was at the HD dealer yesterday and asked if they had any R*'s in the back shed and he said he just sold 2 to the auction company last week. He said they had an 04 with 4k for $2300 and an 08 Midnight with 1200 miles for $4700. He said their region doesn't allow metrics on the floor unless approved so they all get put in the back shed until they get enough to fill their trailer then just sell them outright to an auction company. Wish I would have been there Thursday morning when they were loading them up I would have been all over that 08. They aren't even allowed to work on HD's over 10 years old because the region wants to focus on pushing the newer stuff so the same gets done with older HD's as well.

was without a bike for some 30 years before i met the woman who is now my wife..she had the black/white 05 roadie and i did some repairs on it for her...took it for a test ride and a few miles later the battery and the bike died on me...96degrees out and im pushing her bike down the road trying to start it...but in spite of this just the short time i was riding it was enough to sink the hook in me..i had to get one of my own..now i am thinking about a 3rd... a project roadie..

I really really want a royal star venture so i can have a super comfy two up cruiser. I love the way my roadie looks set up for solo riding. But until i pay the truck off ill have to just keep reinstalling the sissy bar and p pad when mama wants to ride!

I'm in love with a Stat Delux but I have my bike looking very similar. Wouldn't make much sense to have two bikes that alike. Maybe a Raider would be nice for a different look and ride.
