Ooooo, another hot political thread. Count me in!

I'm just a Christian, Constitutional Conservative who wants to see what used to be called common sense employed in policy making once again... which would probably undue just about everything that's been implemented since FDR took office!!!

We all talk about "gettin' rid of Obama" like that is gonna cure anything.
We were on the wrong path LONG before anyone ever heard of Barack Hussein Obama. Even if we get rid of him we still have Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Durbin, Feinstein, Boxer, Maxine Waters and the entire Black Congressional Caucus, anyone named Kennedy and the entire Massachusetts Congressional delegation.
Wanna see a big part of the problem? Google "Rep. James McGovern" from Worcester MA.

The Media types all see Obie as some great political genius. He ain't even the head of the snake. He's just the "spokesperson".
Obie sort of reminds me of the late Billy Mays the famed infomercial star. His biggest talent is making folks believe that the crap he's sellin' is gonna make your life wonderful if you just send him all your money.

Tim Hawkins is good. He has a full blown music video for that number, too.
I assume he is a Christian comedian because EVERY video I've seen of his shows have been done in a church! There is a guy living off the inter-tubes and church performances and he is better than 90% of the guys on Comedy Central.
That right here tell you how screwed up we are.

HERE IS ALL I WANT:

Obama: Gone!
Borders: Closed!
Congress: Obey it's own laws
Language: English only
Culture: Constitution, and the Bill of Rights!
Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare!
NO freebies to: Non-Citizens!

Obama Gone: With over 20% of Republicans not going to vote for the GOP/Republican candidate... (doesn't mean they will vote for Democrat). Obama is a Shoe-in. Get over it, its going to happen. And You'd really want Frothy in place anyway (he is just pandering)? Even the evil, mean bastard Mittens (says whatever will get him in office)? Newt, don't make me laugh!

Borders Closed: Goodbye Cheap prices at Walmart and any other place that get things made in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India etc. Goodbye plentiful Oil from other countries (and cheap gasoline, you think its bad now... just wait for this). Goodbye Foreign investment, without we could not sell any bonds. Among other unforeseen effects from closing borders. "Papers, *PLEASE*" (we already have this at Airports and some other travel terminals, thank you TSA/DHS)

Congress Obey the common Man's Laws they put in place: by all means, please.

Language English only: English Mandatory, this country was built on immigrants emigrating.

Culture: American only. Which means, sure pay homage to your country of origin... just don't fly it in my face and speak English. Oh, our laws and rules apply, not your Russian or Mexican or <insert country of origin> law.

Drug-Free: To work for our Government, Get (hand out) benefits from our Government, drug screening, mandatory and if failed, treatment must be sought and completed.

No Freebies: Must "earn this" by "working" in a public/volunteering type of position. Even handicappers must give back. Some exceptions apply... but not a whole heck of a lot.

You may be unpleasantly surprised. Everyone I know is willing to vote for an Orange Juice Can instead of your "Shoe-in." But you're entitled to your opinion.

Did I say I was voting for him? No. Did I say that its a shoe-in for him? Yes. Am I pleased with this? No.

It would be nice if you read what I wrote and not assume my personal choice.

And I guess you didn't have any other constructive comments on the rest of my post? I hope you didn't assume I was a staunch Democrat. Because I'm not. Not even close.

All of that is good to know, gfolkert!

I don't think I said you'd vote for him or that you were pleased.

I didn't assume anything. I just responded to your opinion with one of my own. If I would have had anything else to say, I would have said it.

Hope you enjoy Washington's Birthday today!

Still no comment on the other parts of the post... hmmm ok. Cherry Picking. I get it.

You also did say *instead of your "Shoe-in."* which very clearly implies I'm voting for him.
