First off let me say, he was Driving Under the Influence he should be in prison. That being said, this case is from August 2010, justice is slooooow, especially in large cities.

As far as cops getting away with everything...
1. Don't lump us all in together
2. Cops are people too, and unfortunately there are some bad cops, just like there are some bad bikers, or plumbers, or soldiers, or doctors, or any other profession. As a whole we rate better than a lot of other groups but some pos d-bags do slip thru the cracks.
3. This cop hasn't gotten away with anything yet, he hasn't even been to trial yet, which is planned if you check facts. The DUI was dropped due to improper collection of evidence. If you listen to the reporter in the video he is still facing 3 FELONY charges, DUI in most states is a simple misdemeanor for the first time which usually results in license being suspended and no jail time.

Lastly if you don't like COPS next time you need help call a CRACKHEAD!

I ride with some LEO's as friends and on the PGR. This is the kind of Cop most of my LEO friends would bust in a heart beat!!!! Just like when I was in the military the few bad ones give all of us a black eye!!!

I just heard a local news story about a man being charged with first degree murder because he killed a pedestrian with his truck. It was truly an accident that would have war rented vehicular manslaughter.

His charge of first degree was a result of a DUI charge. So get this, he had his license, full insurance and was a driver for a living. But it was revealed that he had 5 DUIs in the last ten years. HOW THE HELL DO WE LET SOME ON THE ROAD AFTER 5 DUIs, let alone when he drives for a living.

My cousin recently retired from his job as police chief of Ottawa, ontario . The stories he has told me make me sick. It is the 1% ers of cops that give them a bad image.

I agree that justice has not been final for this cop and I am sure he will be guilty of the three felonies .

There is always one rotten apple in the barrel.
And thats all it take to paint all members of this oragganisation the wrong way

id say they covered it up why didnt they TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET BLOOD DRAWIN THEY TOOK TO SAMPLES
