42HSR mikuni flatslid carb 7 Years, 2 Months ago  
trying to put a forcewinder on my 42hsr.
haveing a real hard time with this.
FMP say,s I need a adaptor for a 42hsr
They have sent me two adaptors one to small
and one to big.
so If some one is running a hsr42 with the forcewinder
what adaptor do I need.
Can sure use the help

It has been over two years since I installed my Mikuni HSR 42mm flatslide carb and Forcewinder air intake on my '01 Midnight Star.

I do not remember getting any specific adapter or part for installation on the 42mm carb.

Did you order the Forcewinder specifically designed for the Roadstar? There is a good picture of the Roadstar Forcewinder in the J & P Cycles metric catolog and probably the same on their web site jpcycles.com. It is different than all the HD Forcewinder kits and adapters.
