Just wondering what you guys use... the lock under the seat? I use that too, however, I was thinking about installing an aftermarket one. Worried about the key breaking or the ignition switch malfunctioning prematurely.

Anyone here installed a helmet lock on their bike?

I use a reglar padlock with a long 'U' closure that runs through the helmet's metal loop and lock it to the sissy bar. Never had a problem. If someone wants a helmet badly enough, they'll get bolt cutters and get it.

I use a pistol through cable lock. 9" and a small key... wrap it in a captured locations... run it through the d-ring... good to go.

+1 usually on the grip or over the mirror. I don't have pricy lids, so I don't worry that much. I do always take the scala g4's with us though, those ARE worth stealing
