I just shake my head at how much they hate us!!! Pound for pound, dollar for dollar I will put my R/S S against one with similar mods. Is it because they paid more for less, I just dont understand people. I could understand if it was like comparing a Pinto to a BMW!!!

Status thing bro.There are alot of cool HD riders who don't care about what you ride , just the douche bags stand out. Anyway, who cares if they don't accept R*. We don't need anybodys approval.

I rode Harleys for years. I rode metric bikes for years. It's always been about the ride for me. Ive never been loyal to any particular brand only loyalty to the road.
Ive met both awesome and shitty people on a variety of bikes.
Personally I judge a person by the content of their character not what kind of machine they ride.
Most of these guys that "hate on you" are RUB'S to begin with(Rich Urban Biker) they think that 20 grand and 20 miles make them a biker.
Those are the guys that need to buy big expensive bikes to make up for their shortcomings....

Harley Snobs. It's a breed. I work with several guys who own them, and a bunch of BMW guys (Gernmans) and we all just talk RIDING. We talk rides, mods, destinations, but seldom talk brands. One is suprised I know as much as I do about them, but don't own one, but I read a LOT, so I know quite a bit about things I don't own.

June 2 and I will have my bike for one year and two of those months I was in Mexico not riding, 13,600 miles!!! I bought my bike to ride daily, not just the weekends.

I'm assuming you just had an experience that brought this on?
Like the others have said before, not all HD riders are haters, only the douche bags with insecurities and the need to make themselves feel superior.
Just smile knowing how fragile their little egos really are and enjoy the ride.
Not sure where you live but truth be told, I get nothing but respect from all the Harley riders I encounter. ...And if I did meet someone who felt otherwise, I could give a rat's ass.

Never fails I have HD guys come over to me and tell me they love my bike all the time. I ride with a lot HD guys and they are cool. The owner of the bike shop that wants my bike and has shown it to every customer that comes in. He owns a HD and I am sure he would trade it to me at the drop of a hat. BTW he has first dibs when I get ready to get rid of it and he doesn't mind tell everybody that too. |

It's all just the egos mostly, but sometimes I like to give the benefit of the the doubt and maybe, just maybe they're pissed about something else. I've had several of those rides in the past where I'm just going to clear my head, and I don't care who you are or what you want, screw you, leave me alone, I'm trying to clear my head... I have the only roadie in all the circles I ride in, either hds or sportbikes, maybe a small handful of other metric cruisers, and they're all genuinely good people that would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Riding is a brotherhood, or at least it should be. Who cares about what company made that stallion between your legs, make her yours and ride her with the wind!
