Something or someone stopped me from riding today.

I went out to ride the bike to work today and I had a dead battery, must have left the key on yesterday

So I break out the jumper cables and start the truck up, back the bike out to the truck and give her a jump. She's acting a little funny, the speed-o and fuel gauge are jumping around with every twist of the throttle. OK, off I go, close the garage door, back out of the drive and down the road I go. She's still acting funny, so I think.....hmmm.. better not chance it, head back home and what happens???? My truck is still running in the driveway

So I pull the bike back into the garage, hook up the trickle charger and jump in the truck (all warmed up now ) and off to work.

Something didn't want me to ride to work today, and I didn't want to push my luck.

After work, all charged up! Ready to ride...

I think Jona... [or someone] was looking out for my ass today... but I'll save that for it's own thread. Let's just say that the fact I'm even writing this post right now is a little amazing.

Thats a pretty good story, I was riding home one evening accross my 4 lane bridge. When out of nowhere this white truck pulls ahead to pass me on the left. As I was about to pass a road on the right he swings in front of me to make a right!!!! I squeeze my front and rear brakes, hear the bike squeel, and feel the bike start to go down on the left ....I just knew I was a goner... all of a sudden I feel the bike physically lift from going down on the left and straighten out as I clear the truck thats turning right in front of me!!!! I stopped on the side of the road shaking and saying a very heartfelt prayer of thanks...Talk about Angels!!!That was proof enough for me.

I always try to listen to that little voice in my head. It's has saved my life on more that once. I hope it saves me again!!
