Thats sucks and sorry to hear about that! Indeed, welcome to the club. But at 70 mph, it might be enough to be glad you're able to post about it and tell us. Bikes and parts can be replaced. Hope all's well with you and you're back up and riding soon.

I NEVER swerve to miss anything smaller that a German Shepard. It might bite me in the butt one day, but so far I've been able to run thru relatively small road critters with only one mess to clean up.

I'm glad to hear you are OK. It's a good thing these bikes hold up so well. Smoke said the prior owner to his bike laid his down and do did the prior owner of mine. It's amazing how well this bike holds up!
There are two kinds of riders, those who have been down and those who are going down. Welcome to the club and glad you're still around. 70MPH is damn fast to lose control.
