Don't know where this started, but I beleive that running the 160/80-16 on the backs of our Road*s to correct the speedo is an "urban legend". Running the stock 150/80-16 my speedo was 3mph off, and it's still 3mph off running the 160. This is based on going through one of those "Your Speed Is" speed zones. Running at 70mph (indicated by the speedo), the radar says I'm doing 67mph. While this type of radar may not be the most accurate, the percentage of error is the same with both tires.

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else is thinking about making the switch to the larger tire.

In The Wind,
Aaron

Do you need to mod anything to run the 160 on the rear of your Roadstar?

Nope. But don't get one expecting to have a wide tire look. On the stock rim it gets squeezed. It might look better on spoke rims because they are wider than the cast wheels.
